I'm ready for my exam now :) Thank you for all your prayers and encouragement. I doubt i would've been this calm had it not been for Him.

God bless everyone. He's our saving grace. Worthy of all our praise :)

And so, another semester is coming to an end.

4 papers to go. First one, this Thursday. I feel this..amazing peace..even though i'm nowhere close to finishing what i'm supposed to study. But it's great to know that i'm not alone when i'm studying, and i'm definitely *not* going to be alone when i walk into the exam hall :)

Taking a momentary hiatus from the blogosphere (right after i post this up!) as i enter my *cabin fever* mode. Or exam exile as someone calls it. Banning myself from shopping malls (except Summit, cause that's where church is!), from fiction and non-subject related books. Heck, i might as well be on a surfing ban too. Hehehe. But that's just too...serious. Hahahahahhaa.  

One thing i'm *not* banned from is FOOD. Hahahahha. Been eating like a pig. A big big thank you to Calvin Tay for the lovely pint of BR's Jamoca Almond Fudge. My absolute favourite next to Peanut Butter & Chocolate. It's been providing me midnight bliss complete with sugar rush. *happy spasms*

Rightos. Am off to study again. See you guys back on the 22nd of June! *huggles*

A simple gesture today reminded me of why i started this blog. Why i named this blog the way it is. I realised i never did explain, or maybe i did. I can't remember.

Fantasies. My secret garden. I harbour dreams just as you do. This is where i write them down. Well, this is where i type it. Lols. To remember them fresh in my head. To look back on one day in the future, and see if any of these fantasies or dreams had come true.

But dreams aren't just enough, are they? Sometimes fantasies are too far-fetched. So i reached lower than the sky and wrote down thoughts or things that have happened for the same purpose. To remember them fresh in my head. To look back on one day in the future, and laugh or cry depending on the memory of what has already taken place.

Thoughts are so precious. They may be silly sometimes, but hey, one's gotta have amusement somehow, no? And it gets lonely in the head sometimes. But my thoughts cannot compare to the ones the Master Gardener of my secret garden has for me. Why, He says He "..knows the thoughts that He thinks toward me, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give me a future and a hope." Jeremiah 29:11

Comforting, isn't it? That's what i seek to find in my life journey. He reminds me that if i seek Him with all my heart, i would find the me that He has willed me to be. A work-in-progress, i am.  

Who is me, i wonder?

 I used to be that girl you see who's self-esteem was so low, she looked to her friends so often that she was dependent on them for confidence. I was that short and fat be-spectacled girl, who never got the same attention as the other girls in school. I was that girl, who tried her best in school, but was always being compared to the smarter ones. The girl who sat in the middle, cause being in front meant she had to answer questions and she didnt have the guts to, and being in the back, meant she couldn't see the blackboard. Lols.

I was that girl who couldn't decide on what she wanted. I was that girl who was always uncertain, and fearful of things she couldn't understand. I was that girl who fell in love only to have those feelings unreturned. That girl whose heart you broke because she wasn't the one you wanted her to be. I was that girl who pretended she knew what she wanted in life, how to get it, and where she'd be ten years from now. But in reality, one who floated in the air, going wherever the wind took her.

But i'm not that girl anymore. Or at least, i try not to be.

I'm not lost or uncertain. Cause i've found myself in Him that made me. I may not know where i'd be ten years from now, but i know that i'm made the way He has thought me to be and He's written my story even before i was born. I am someone in Christ. And having that precious thought with me, i walked with it. I run. And one day, i shall fly.

I'm just like you in many ways :) I still have two eyes, two ears, one nose and mouth. I am, however, new in Christ. He changes me to be more like Him every single day. And i humble myself before Him knowing that i need those changes.

Why, you say?

Because we need to change at some point. The world needs changes and i'd like to see them. What better way to start than to change myself first :) I need to be just a lil' bit different that i may change those around me.
