:: v-day blues? :: And so the day has come... and it is about to leave in about half an hour's time... Will do my best to make this entry published on time...*grinz* :) ************************************************************************************* She was worried she couldn't make it. She had it all planned out...leave with her best friend and reach the airport on time to see her friends and "him" off. But her friend had plans. It was after all Valentine's Day. A day of appreciation towards loved ones and friends. She didn't quite feel anything then. It was just another day to her..but when she knew she probably couldnt make it to see him off, she felt disappointed. She feared that she wouldn't be able to see him one last time. A series of phone calls soon solved the problem. She sends heartfelt thanks to her friends who offered to help. Most of all to the person who drove her there. It meant a lot to her. :) Her heart fluttered when she reached the airport. She thought," What if he isn't happy to see me?", many "if's" went through her mind. She gave him a call to knew where he was. She couldn't help but smile hearing his voice. She anticipated the moment she would see him again. To pass him his carefully chosen present and card. A card that says all she wants to say. She hopes he's reading it this very moment. And that he's smiling while doing so. It will pain her very much if the card did not have the desired effect. He was there at the departure hall with his friends. He looked different. She barely recognised him in fact. He greeted her as he did with anybody else. She expected it...it's not like she was anything more than a friend. She smiled and laughed with him...played around and joked like she didn't really cared that he wasn't going off. She knew she was being childish. But if she were to feel how she REALLY felt, she'll probably burst into tears in the middle of the airport. She didn't want that. She didn't want him to remember her that way. They took pictures together. She hopes that the pictures would reach her somehow. She doesn't have any pictures with him. But she will remember his face. How could she forget? Already 8.30pm. It was about time she saw her other friends off. He was the first one she met. He was the ONLY one she really wanted to meet anyway.. They hugged and bid each other farewell. And so she left... She didn't want to look back. But she did... He was taking pictures with his other friends. He didn't watch her leave. But he was smiling. And that's how she will remember him. Until he returns again... ********************************************************************************** It was a good Valentine's Day after all. Had a great time with friends, ended up mamak-ing at Tanjung SS14 with 3 guys...no special someone for me this year. :) Perhaps next year will NOT be spent in the airport. *hopefully* :) HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY EVERYONE!!
