   Ellie spent new year's at her best friend's place. Ellie got to drink lots and lots of plain water and uh, ribena. (somewhat true!) Ellie heard fireworks, but could see none. Ellie watched King Kong (which was quite touching at *some* points) this morning. Conclusion : pretty good. Ellie underwent some retail therapy too. Ellie feels just a *teeny* bit happier. But she's not there yet.

   Ellie feels somewhat fragile from the lack of sleep. So, she says goodbye and hopes that the rest of the world had a mahvelous celebration! :)
